Monthly News - January 2010
"Thankful for YOU in the New Year!"
For the past few years I have begun to set both personal and business goals for each coming year. Most importantly, I write them down. For the past 1 ½ years I have worked with a coach that keeps me motivated, focused and trained. I regularly attend Chiropractic Seminars that train, educate and inspire me. This takes up my time, effort and energy, but so worthwhile to me in the end. It is now that time of year again to reflect on the past and to plan for the future, and oh what possibilities lay ahead!
2010. What does that mean to you? More money? More time off? Does it mean a new opportunity to pursue your special projects: the song you meant to write, the trip you planned to take, the project/trip with your family, the good deed you hoped to do?
It's out there. A New Year, another package of 12 months, 52 weeks, 365 days. It is your playing field, your sand box, your canvas – it's yours. But it's yours ONLY if you take it. Only if you grab it and get busy creating the life you want. Otherwise, it will go by quickly while you aren't looking. If you don't seize this year, guaranteed, the world will seize you!
So, my recommendation is to seize 2010, and each day that it offers. Set goals and make plans to achieve them. WRITE THEM DOWN AND SHARE THEM WITH SOMEONE YOU CARE ABOUT.
So, here it comes. 2010. Go seize the year and make it your own.
I also would like to share with you some of the things that SSFC achieved, implemented and accomplished in 2009:
- SSFC installed new carpeting and a new adjusting table, and we expanded our back adjusting room.
- Christine joined us as our new morning chiropractic assistant in May!
- Sue lost 65 pounds and is still going!
- The office became providers for Network Health, Mass Health and Neighborhood Health Plan.
- We have more families with young children under care and more and more of our patients are introducing the secret of chiropractic to their family and friends.
- The majority of our practice has been under Dr. Bill's care for over 15 years; this is a true testament to understanding the benefits of regular ongoing care.
- The turnout and fund-raising efforts for the Weymouth Food Pantry at this years Yard Sale & food drives have been hugely successful due to you!
- Outreach spinal screenings and workshops were performed at the Weymouth Food Pantry, Senior Center and local schools.
- Our Annual Christmas Party had an all time record turnout!
- Dr. Bill is still alive and kicking!
- One last item. Has Chiropractic been good to you, your body, and your health? Ask yourself that, and if the answer is YES, then won't you share that gift with someone you love and care about?
