"Dear Friends"
As has been written in past newsletters, chiropractic can change your life. Along with eating right, exercising, and having positive outlook, your life can be enhanced greatly on all levels. Being checked for subluxation is imperative when it comes to maximizing your health and life potential.
Most people never give thought to the idea that our individual health directly affects the health of our family and friends, and consequently affects our entire community. We all have stresses in our lives that make us not want to get out of bed some days.
Lately I have been singing the "That which does not kill us makes us stronger" song. I have been watching the brainwashing on television about just take our pill and all your troubles will go away. If it were only that easy, but in reality what you took the pill to deal with will still be there when the pill wears off. But you know what really makes you feel good? Go out and accomplish something! It doesn't have to be a big project, but it will be a constant reminder that you can do it. You can do anything.
Accomplishing something builds self-esteem. I doubt that a pill can do that? I have become an accomplishment junkie. Like a chiropractic adjustment one builds on another. Do something for someone else. Do something for someone you don't even like, now that's a feeling you wont get in a pill. And speaking of doing for others, next month we will be holding our 4 th annual charity yard sale. The proceeds of which will be going to our favorite charity, the Weymouth Food Pantry. Creating a healthy community is our shared purpose.
We have table spaces to rent, there will be a goody table, we really would appreciate a donation of a baked good, or come on down and buy a goody. We will have a table of donated items which sales will go to the Weymouth Food Pantry. All proceeds from table rentals, goody table sales, and raffles, will go to the Weymouth Food Pantry. We will have a free Moonwalk that Lori has rented, and I will be doing face painting. If you would like to help in any way, work a table, bake a cake, or just come and spend the afternoon and some money.
This will be greatly appreciated. Nothing feels as good as accomplishment does. Feel proud of what you're doing for others, it all comes back to you. We all have a great time and you'll be surprised how great that is for you. -Thanks again from Sue.
